Everyone is talking about Vikings: Valhalla these days. It doesn’t matter if you’re an old Vikings fan or a younger generation who likes action and mythology-based shows. Valhalla has been captivating everyone, whether young or old, students or working professionals. It drew people to sword fights, long battles, hair and clothing, and twisted story. Even UFC fighters have taken notice of this riveting display and have begun rigorous training to replicate the Vikings’ demeanor and routine.

At the UFC Performance Institute in Las Vegas, three of the sport’s best athletes went through a Viking-inspired workout. To see how they would manage in a Viking raid. UFC athletes, according to Miesha Tate, are modern-day Vikings because they prepare their bodies for combat. These athletes completed a workout designed to imitate the strength and energy required to row for hundreds of miles at a time during a Vikings’ expedition.

Cory Sandhagen wishes to travel back in time and live as the Vikings did. Even Miesha Tate said, “My take is that UFC fighters are the modern day Vikings, I mean we train our bodies to go into battle”
