And it seems like ever since the Canadian celebrity came into acquire Welsh Football club, Wrexham AFC, he has unapologetically made his love for the game known to the entire universe. Now, no one could perhaps stop him from seconding the motion in favor of soccer, playfully stating that football or soccer is best of all. And we are here to justify the same.

In the clip posted by an Independent Instagram page, the comedian (@grantsgamerecs) apparently calls those who do not like Soccer in America, “dumb.” The argument that people always have, according to him, is, “Soccer is low scoring and it’s boring.” He then compares it to America’s most loved game, NFL, and asserts that even American Football is low scoring, but they just play economy. “They just make up points. It’s not 21 to 14, it is 3 to 2!”

Although the 46-year-old Vancouver-based actor did not caption his story, the intent is self-explanatory. Furthermore, this is not the first time Reynolds has bluntly expressed his love for Football. The Wrexham AFC owner, who would call the Welsh ground his church, “Made it to church on time,” also watched the recent jaw-dropping FIFA world cup claiming that he is “in love.”
