From NBA Players to Hollywood Stars, Here’s the Complete Netflix ‘Hustle’ Cast
After quite a while, we see Adam Sandler in a more serious role in Netflix’s Hustle. The movie follows Stanley Sugarman who works as a scout for the Philadelphia 76ers. But he longs to become a coach. When he finds a young Bo Cruz playing in his local basketball match, Stanley immediately puts all his bets on him. The inspirational story is about two men fighting for their dreams against all hurdles. The Hustle cast is talented to the boot and features cameos from several beloved NBA stars. Adam Sandler is probably the most recognizable name on the cast list. Sandler has had a long Hollywood career mostly appearing in comedy films. The actor is mostly known for Big Daddy, The Wedding Singer, Little Nicky, and The Waterboy. Hustle is a product of his deal with Netflix. His previous projects with Netflix include Murder Mystery with Jennifer Aniston. The actor also has Murder Mystery 2 and Spaceman in the works.
Essaying Teresa is hip hop’s first lady Queen Latifah. The rapper actress and singer were born Dana Elaine Owens. She has appeared as Moagron Mama Morton in the flick, Chicago, and as Motormouth Maybelle in 2007’s Hairspray. Her most notable works include Bringing Down the House and Taxi. Most recently, the star has worked as executive producer on sets of The Equalizer, Scream The TV Series, and more. Her acting career had taken a backseat until she appeared beside Sandler in the Netflix movie.
The young gun that Sandler’s character puts his career on the line for is a professional basketball star in real life. Juancho plays for the Utah Jazz of the NBA. He plays in the Power Forward position. The 26-year-old has played for the Estudiantes, Denver Nuggets, Minnesota Timberwolves, Boston Celtics, and Sam Antonia Spurs. He doesn’t have too many acting credits. So far he has only appeared in 3 projects, including Hustle. He has appeared as himself in Access Hollywood and The NBA on TNT.
Kenny Smith better known as the Jet was a former NBA player and a sports commentator. He played for the NBA from 1987 to 1997. The man had a long illustrious sports career. He has once played for Sacramento Kings, Atlanta Hawks, Houston Rockets, Detroit Pistons, Orlando Magic, and Denver Nuggets as well. Besides acting the 57-year-old has served as producer for 2022’s The Pathway, Ready for the League, and Meet the Smiths. He appeared as himself in Just Wright.
Born in 2001, Anthony DeVante Edwards is already a star in the NBA. The 20-year-old plays the villain in the Sandler flick. Popularly dubbed as The Ant-Man, he is a member of the Minnesota Timberwolves. He plays as a Shooting guard on the team. The young player has shown off some acting chops in the flick.
The Hustle cast also includes the talented Jordan Hull as Sandler’s daughter in the movie. The 32-year-old actress hasn’t appeared in many projects so far. However, her most notable roles include playing Angie Porter- Kennard on The L Word: Generation Q. She has appeared as herself on Black News Tonight with Marc Lamont Hill, OUTLOUD: Raising Voices feat. Pride Live & Stonewall Day and Red Carpet Report.
Ben Foster plays Stanley’s boss in the movie. The actor has had roles in Hell or High Water, 3:10 to Yuma, and The Messenger to name a few. He was also seen in 2018’s Leave No Trace. Interestingly, he is married to That 70s Show’s star Laura Prepon. The actor has three projects in the post-production – Peter Pan, Lande of Forever, FinestKind, Emancipation, and Medieval.

Heidi Gardner is a familiar face to Saturday Night Live Fans. The actress plays Vincent’s sister, who is on Stanley’s team. She has appeared in several TV shows over the years from That Damn Michael Che to SuperMansion. Her filmography also includes Bratz, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt: Kimmy vs the Reverend, Life of the Party, and Otherhood.
The actor portraying Rex Merrick the owner of the Philadelphia 76ers is a veteran actor and director. He started his career in the 70s with roles in The Godfather, The Conversation, and Network. He has acted in The Apostle and Apocalypse Now as well.
