Finn Wolfhard, who made a name for himself as Stranger Things’ Mike Wheeler, chatted with BBC’s Craig Charles recently, where he confirmed that there will be a world tour to support the conclusive season of the Netflix series in November, the timeframe when the final installment of the show marks its landing. Though Wolfhard did not divulge any further details regarding the countries he, alongside his colleagues, will be covering and the activities planned for their time on the road, the limited tease was enough to send a wave of excitement among those following their journey on screen for nearly a decade now.
Stranger Things 5, for those not in the loop, comes out in three parts, with the first volume comprising episodes one to four hitting Netflix on November 26. The second volume with episodes five, six, and seven arrives on December 25, Christmas Day. And the final episode, the last hurrah of the saga, premieres on December 31. An official teaser for the final season arrived only a couple of days ago, sending a chill down the fans’ spines with its crimson vibe. Theories about what could unfold this time in Hawkins are abundant on the internet, with one even exploring the rise of a dead character.

Joseph Quinn, who portrayed Eddie Munson in Stranger Things before the character's demise in season 4, shared during a 2022 interview with Esquire that he is very much up for a return to the Upside Down. Fans have been spinning their own theories about his return, meanwhile, with most of them hypothesizing Munson is not dead to begin with and is instead alive in Vecna’s mind space. Alternative theories surrounding Eddie Munson's return include him making an appearance via a dream or flashback sequence, or perhaps Stranger Things 5 could have a time travel plot in store. Well, while the conjectures are overwhelming, it also remains to be seen if he joins his now former colleagues on the world tour that Finn Wolfhard confirmed recently. If that happens, the threat will only be doubled for the fans.
