It is a fact that we have all watched too many crime thrillers that we have developed a knack for identifying characters. Or maybe some of these new series features rather naïve characters as the main lead of the show. Well, Pieces of Her is the new popular show for Netflix users, and fans believe it is the latter one for this series. Fans have been closely following the show, given that it is based on a best-selling novel. But, they are absolutely irritated about one of the characters in the show. So, who is it?

Based on the 2018 novel of the same name by Karin Slaughter (haha, yes! We are not making her name up), Pieces of Her follows a young woman who discovers dark and gory secrets about her mother’s past. It sure sounds very interesting, and, in fact, the show is indeed full of twists and turns that will keep you at the edge of your seat. But fans have a major complaint with this very girl who tries to be a past-digging detective.

Netflix fans irritated over a Pieces of Her character

The crux of the entire story of Pieces of Her is that Andy (played by Bella Heathcote) comes across a rather dark secret of her mother’s life. She learns that she and her mother are part of a witness protection program. She gets to know this after her mother, Laura (played by Toni Collette), disarms a gunman inside a cafe in a rather amazing fashion.

It is natural that a kid will want to know more about her mother’s action side; especially when she looks at her do such amazing stuff. Even though Laura clearly instructs her to leave the town and not return until everything is in control and safe. We see Andy getting into the riskiest of situations, just because she is an ignorant little girl who just won’t listen.

Fans are actually really pissed at her, and it kind of reminds us of Josefin from Elves, yet another character from a Netflix series, who has a problem with following simple instructions. These young girls with an “I wanna know and fix this” attitude are indeed irritating. And we believe it is indeed justifiable to find them annoying.
