Heartstopper star Yasmin Finney keeps making headlines with her posts on the social media. 17-year-old Finney became a TikTok superstar as she inspired millions, sharing her journey as a black transgender woman from Manchester. Her performance as Elle in Heartstopper impressed fans, so much so that everyone is looking forward to seeing more of the actress in a possible season 2.

She recently made headlines for revealing that she and fellow Heartstopper star, Joe Locke, would go to the MET 2023 and the news sent a wave of excitement through the show’s fans, as the MET is considered to be one of the most prestigious nights in Hollywood. And now, Yasmin took to Twitter again and left fans more excited and desperate than ever for a season 2 for the show.

Yasmin plays Elle on the show and is Tao’s romantic interest. The couple is popular among fans for reconciling quickly, after quarreling, and in all sorts of cute ways. Based on Alice Oseman’s graphic novels of the same name, Heartstopper season 1 includes Volumes 1 and 2 of the 4-part novel. Aside from a possible season 2, fans can also expect part 5 of the novel to release in 2023.

According to Joe Locke, fans should look forward to at least one more season of the show. The executive producer of the show, Patrick Walters was asked in an interview if he’d like a Season 2 and he said, “Given there are more books in the series there’s more source material to adapt. Alice and I are getting our thinking caps on and starting to think ahead now.”
