“We’ve been waiting for you”- Sydney Sweeney Channels Her Inner Lana Del Rey as the ‘Young & Beautiful’ Singer Releases New Music
Sydney Sweeney being loaded with work is not news to anybody. With all the mega projects and advertisement campaigns she is working on, the actress is for sure exhausted. Hence, she recently decided to take a day off for herself and spend it relaxing with a friend. Not just that, she somehow also brought one of her favorite singers into the game.

The 25-year-old often posts stories to keep her fans in the loop about her updates. So when she decided to take an afternoon off from work, she decided to go to a salon with her old friend, Kaylee McGregor. And that is when her friend lip-synced a famous song by Lana Del Rey, of whom the Spokane native is a huge fan. But what were the song and the lines that Sweeney’s friend dedicated to her?
Sydney Sweeney received this Lana Del Rey line as a compliment
The song that the Euphoria actress’s friend, along with their hairdresser, sang was ‘Summertime Sadness’. Del Rey released this song in the year 2012 in her album ‘Born to Die’. So while The White Lotus star and her friend were enjoying their salon day, they lip-synced this song, and the Emmy-nominated star posted it with the caption, “Lana we’ve been waiting for you.”
Her friend Kaylee and their hairdresser Federica Emidi sang together the lines of the song, “I just wanted you to know, that baby, you the best”. They pointed towards Sweeney as they sang it together, eventually calling her “the best.”
The small-town girl is a huge fan of the 37-year-old singer whose new song recently got released. The American singer chose Valentine’s day to release her new song, which is getting huge hits all over the world.

Lana Del Rey releases the song A&W
As per Pitchfork, ‘A&W’ is the singer’s latest release for her upcoming album ‘Did You Know That There’s a Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd.’ Del Rey has not just sung the song but is also one of its producers. Her co-producer is Jack Antonoff, who often collaborates with her.

The new album of the New York-based singer will release on March 23. It is her ninth studio album, and she is very excited about it.
