In September 2022, Julia Roberts and George Clooney sat down with New York Times, to talk about their reuniting film Ticket to Paradise. During the conversation, the 55-year-old actress revealed how she was stuck all by herself in Australia during the pandemic. The pair were shooting this romantic drama when the epidemic hit and they were quarantined close to each other.

Pretty Women star stated that Clooneys were the reason that she never feel lonely and despair at that time.

“We were in a bubble, and it’s the longest I’ve ever been away from my family. I don’t think I’ve spent that much time by myself since I was 25,” explained Roberts.

The American actor and his family were quarantined close to the place where the Wonder star stayed. So they all spend this pandemic bubble together, which turned this friendly duo into a family.

They all used to drink coffee together and soon Roberts became “aunt Juju” to his kids, stated the Three Kings star. Moreover, the Emmy-nominated star said how the initial days of quarantine made them “kind of go a little bit cuckoo.

Also, the actress recalled that she was losing her mind only after 11 days of the closure and isolation started creeping into her mind. Meanwhile, they did complete the shooting of Ticket to Paradise, which premiered on October 21 in the US. The movie depicts the life of an estranged couple who travel together to Bali to stop their daughter’s wedding. Since they do not want her to make the same mistake, they once made years ago.
