The award-winning actress made her debut in Barbershop 2: Back in Business (2004) as Queen Latifah’s niece. But her breakout role came in Akeelah and the Bee. She continued her acting and side by side delved into music, her first passion. She released her debut album, So Uncool in 2007. Jimmy Fallon urged her to do some musical impressions after her Angela Bassett impersonation. She immediately got ready to give it a go. Taking up the mic, she paused for a minute before she started crooning to Shakira’s Whenever Wherever. She sounded exactly like the Latina singer, no distinction there! Beside her, Jimmy was so excited that he started clapping like a seal! Content with the cheers and Jimmy’s seal clap, Keke Palmer next did an impression of Cher’s Believe. She pulled off Cher’s vocals perfectly in Billboard’s best-performing song of 1999.

Keke stunned the crowd not only with her voice but also with her stunning looks. She wasn’t glowing in a floral printed yellow one-shoulder dress. The yellow complimented her brown skin. Keeping accessories minimal, the actress only wore a pair of big crystal earrings.
Palmer’s recent project also starring Get Out‘s Daniel Kaluuya, Nope has garnered a lot of positive reviews. It’s rated 7.2 on IMDb and 83% on Rotten Tomatoes. The science fiction horror movie made $6.4 million alone on opening night! Peele wrote and directed the movie. He also produced the movie under his Monkeypaw Productions.
