Usually for its day-to-day documentary content, Netflix keeps its bandwidth tight and loaded with numerous impressive real-life series. But every once in a while, the platform knocks it out of the park with something that no rival could offer. As announced by Netflix, Titan: The OceanGate Disaster will be premiering on June 11. It is about the submersible operated by the American tourism and expeditions company OceanGate, which unfortunately imploded during an expedition.

The expedition was to view the wreck of the Titanic in the North Atlantic Ocean, just off the coast of Newfoundland, Canada. Netflix is bringing life to this historic occurrence with a light-shedding documentary on what really went wrong. The documentary details how a bold vision about finding out the most disastrous marine accidents ended in a tragedy.
