The Asset comes with a unique six-episode Danish crime story on Netflix, having unleashed its first trailer recently. It follows Agent Tea, a young cadet with a police force, who goes undercover as a jeweler to infiltrate a long-established criminal organization tasked to befriend Ashley, the wife of the crime lord, to access secret information. But the closer Tea gets, the more she starts witnessing the dark realities of Ashley's existence and begins questioning her own allegiances.

As the mission intensifies, The Asset delves into the emotional risk and the battle between duty and empathy when exposed to adversity and betrayal. Samanou Acheche Sahlstrøm, conceptual director, stressed her focus on investigating "the complexities of identity and loyalty under extreme pressure," speaking to Netflix. The Asset, according to her, achieved her goal to become a crime story, at its heart, driven by the inter-character relationships and their growth, supplemented by stellar writing and a robust cast.
