So he talked about the filming and how he continued to work between therapy sessions for his leg injury.
The Enola Holmes star did not want to take a break because there was much to be done. He found that working during his recovery was painful and feared that it would end his action career if he pushed himself too hard. “That was my worst moment of the past year — professionally,” added Cavill.
But he found the perfect solution to this problem and created a balance. The team moved all the action scenes at the end of production so his wound could heal. And the rest is history. In his latest interview with GamesRadar, the director Marc Jobst opened up about Henry Cavill doing all his stunts. He gushed over the 40-year-old for not taking any stunt double for fight scenes. Not even for the close-up scenes that only a professional could handle best. But the actor did it himself, showcasing his impeccable combat skills, which made season 3 sequences more amazing and thrilling.
“You’re working with an incredible athlete, first and foremost, who works out hours before, and hours after,” remarked Jobst. The Man of Steel alum put extra effort into shooting and made his exit more memorable than ever for his fans.
