Suits, the legal drama that originally aired from 2011 to 2019, has experienced a remarkable increase in popularity in recent years thanks to its arrival on Netflix in mid-2023. The show quickly became a streaming sensation, drawing in audiences worldwide and setting records for viewership. Despite the global fanfare and its record-breaking performance, this flow in popularity has not guaranteed Suits a permanent place on Netflix’s menu.

As it faces the cut by the streamer in most countries, will Suits meet the same fate by Netflix US?

The favorite legal drama Suits, which has fascinated audiences worldwide for nearly a decade, is set to leave Netflix in most international regions in July 2025. Across many countries, fans will have to bid farewell to the show on July 17th, 2025, with their last chance to stream it on July 16th. Suits will be removed from Netflix in the countries like Latin America (Brazil, Argentina, Mexico), Europe (Switzerland, Czech Republic, France, Greece, Iceland, Italy, Poland, Romania, Spain, Nordics), Asia (Singapore, South Korea, Japan, Thailand, India), Australia, and Israel.  However, Suits remains safe from being slashed in the  United States.

For viewers in the United Kingdom, all seasons of Suits will remain on Netflix until at least September 25th, 2025. Canadians can continue watching through April 16th, 2026. Meanwhile, in the United States, while Suits was originally only available for two years, Netflix has extended the agreement by another two years, so fans will be able to stream the series until July 1st, 2027.

While the show is leaving streaming platforms, it does not have to do anything with its popularity, especially since the show has upheld record-breaking views.

Suits has been a steamroller for Netflix. According to the data from Netflix engagement reports, 3.801 billion hours were watched globally between 2023 and 2024. Its surge in popularity was especially notable in the US, where it topped Netflix charts after being licensed in 2023 during the Hollywood strike of actors and writers. The show’s success even led to a spin-off, though it was later canceled.

The show’s record-breaking viewership and cultural mark, including the incredible cast that demonstrates true popularity, can not be easily erased by changes in streaming menus. Even as Suits faces removal from Netflix in many countries, its influence reminds us that great television leaves a lasting impacting.
