Stranger Things is almost at the finish line. In the coming year, fans will get answers to all their questions about the fate of Hawkins. Over the course of four seasons, there have been plenty of minor plotlines that either made the show better or, in some cases, hurt it. Now that the show is coming to an end, fans are sharing their thoughts about the Netflix series, even if it ruffles some feathers along the way.

There are a few things about Stranger Things that most people can agree on, but a lot of it comes down to personal opinion. For example, the attempt to give Billy a redemption arc, Max and Robin’s integration with the core team, and making Alexei lovable- fans have very different takes on all of these. Luckily, X is a great place to find some of the more unpopular opinions. Recently, a page on X asked fans to share their Stranger Things opinions that would have them like Flynn Rider in the sword meme.

Fans did not hold back at all and dropped some pretty wild opinions. From the love triangles to characters they think are way overrated to calling out actors who should not have been cast in the first place, they have been airing some major controversial takes about the Duffer brothers’ show. Many fans also criticized the makers for writing off some off the coolest characters too soon.

Some of these opinions also hinted that the showrunners have to be cautious about certain plots that they are about to unveil in the fifth season, or so fans think.

Stranger Things fans' bold takes on the show

There are a lot of questions that fans are eagerly waiting to have answered in Stranger Things season 5. One of the big ones is whether Will Byers and Mike Wheeler are going to have some sort of love story in the future. Many fans have been guessing that Will might be queer, especially since he has not shown any romantic interest in girls- or anyone, really- since the very first season. Then, there is the whole love triangle mess between Nancy, Jonathan, and Steve. A lot of people have strong opinions about these two tangled-up plots.

While some fans asked for more screen time for a few cast members, others believed that even Millie Bobby Brown was miscast as Eleven.
