Meghan Markle has always been an independent and self-reliant woman, unconstrained and unrestricted by societal conventions. The same was reflected in her choice of stepping back as a Royal when she and the Duke withdrew from the palace in 2020. Hence, from what we have come to understand so far, she never felt the need for titles like the Duchess or the Princess. But what if it is about her kids? 

As reported by Mirror, Meghan Markle has recently had a striking change of heart regarding her perspective towards the royalty. Although she has forever disregarded the royal titles, commentator Neil Sean has something else to say.

Meghan Markle has started thinking of getting her children royal titles 

According to the eminent Royal commentator, “Markle seems to have changed her mind” about neglecting the titles for her kids. This, as per Neil, is an outcome of her conversations with the Palace’s princesses, Beatrice and Eugenie. While discussing titles with them, it dawned on Markle that, in order to move in the correct circles, especially as a royal, they need to have the titles intact. 

She also realized how Prince Andrew had to press hard for ensuring that his children got those titles. After much introspection, Markle realized that the titles have been very useful to both the princesses of the family. Hence, although she never really cared about what position she held, she finds it necessary to get her children the titles that they rightfully deserve. As of now, they are only known as Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor and Lilibet Diana Mountbatten-Windsor. 

This comes amidst heated controversies between the Palace and the Sussexes. Recently, there has been quite a lot of debate regarding stripping the titles of both Meghan Markle and Prince Harry. Nonetheless, experts have also reflected on how it is nowhere going to affect them as they will still be, the legit Harry and Meghan.
