As if the Stranger Things experience on screen was not realistic enough, devotees of the blockbuster franchise can now own a part of the series in its material form. Its home remains empty but alive as a cherished artifact of suburban Hawkins, Indiana. In Stranger Things, its wood-paneled interior rang with Dungeons & Dragons giggles, the secrets exchanged between Mike and Eleven, and the muted hum of sci-fi terror. Now, it promises nostalgia of the Upside Down to be mastered by new owners in a new story in real life.

Stranger Things' iconic house is about to welcome new inhabitants, and any fan lucky enough could be a part of its legacy.

Now imported into Atlanta's real estate scene, Stranger Things' Wheeler House is listed on the real estate market. Fans of the franchise could be living there in real life soon. The Wheeler house, with its iconic exterior that has been used across the series, is up for grabs in Atlanta for $350,000, according to Forbes. The five-bedroom, three-bathroom traditional single-family house is situated at 2530 Piney Wood Lane and covers around 2,466 square feet of space on a large two-acre lot.

A "quintessential '80s time capsule," per the house's listing description, per the outlet, it takes one back to a nostalgic era with design elements such as wood panels, floral kitchen wallpaper borders, built-in cabinetry, and a brick fireplace for a retro revival aesthetic. Situated at a peaceful cul-de-sac, its architectural charm is reminiscent of the late-night escapes into the Upside Down with infinite potential for remodeling. The two-story home, which was built in 1963, has hit the market almost a year after the filming of the fifth and final season of Stranger Things wrapped. Hence, nostalgia cements each of its bricks.

But what hides within those familiar walls? Here is a look back at The Wheeler House's indelible mark in the Stranger Things lore.

Strangest things the Wheeler house has seen

Karen Wheeler and Ted Wheeler were the original owners of The Wheeler house, which was essentially the go-to meeting spot for all the Dungeons & Dragons games between Mike Wheeler and his friends, particularly in Season 1. It also introduced or foreshadowed the Demogorgon lore. The Wheeler house then became a refuge for Eleven as Mike Wheeler shelters her in the basement and makes nightly attempts to contact her using his Supercom. Cut to Season 4, it also sheltered the teens during Vecna's curse and became the backdrop of the police grilling Lucas, Dustin, and Max.

In the Wheeler house, Nancy, Steve, Robin, and Eddie also used electrical interference to communicate with the younger crew, creating a surreal nexus between worlds. It is not just a house but a repository of memories from the pivotal scenes shot in its exterior to enhance continuity to the Super-secret pillow fort that Eleven used, and all of which transpired within its walls, leading up to the grim conclusion of Season 5. The Wheeler house, now on sale, truly represented safety, friendship, and resourcefulness in the midst of supernatural mayhem, becoming a genuine pillar of the fandom's emotional foundation.
