Since Netflix's bold pivot has promised no detail overlooked in this real-life romp, it is time to unmask how these meddlers first sniffed out trouble.

For this new dog-toothed turn Netflix has taken, a fresh origin tale where a young Mystery Inc., Fred, Daphne, Velma, Shaggy, and Scooby, first unite to unmask suburban spooks has been defined for now. Eight episodes have been greenlit, as per Netflix, eyeing an early 2026 production kickoff under Warner Bros. Television.

To ensure the spooky hijinks stay true to form, Berlanti Productions and Midnight Radio have hopped on the ride, Netflix Tudum confirmed in March 2025. A blend of teen drama and classic nosy-kids charm can be looked forward to.
