King Charles Announces New Titles For Queen Consort Camilla and Kate Middleton Ahead of His ‘Trooping The Colour’

Amidst all the Royal fiasco, a piece of breaking news has been breaching headlines all the way from Buckingham. Ahead of King’s Coronation, more two senior members, Queen consort Camilla and Kate Middleton, have come to the spotlight. There has been some recent transfer of roles within the palace and its authority. Previous titleholders have given up some posts and new members have risen to their roles. In fact, going up in the ranks would also add to the seniority of the core members of the administration.

Latest reports have claimed that King Charles before his coronation, decided to bestow some new roles to his wife, and daughter-in-law. Therefore, both Queen Consort, Camilla, and Princess of Wales, Kate Middleton will now be holding a rank higher than their previous position in the system. Statements from the Palace have confirmed the same. This comes as some of the King’s decisions before he finally officially takes Royal matters into his hand in the month of May.

Camilla, Kate, and William to take on new roles ahead of King’s 75th birth anniversary

As reported by BBC, Royal Communications has issued new statements regarding the newly assigned roles to the Queen and Princess. While the Queen Consort assumed the role of Honorary Colonel of Grenadier Guards, the Princess of Wales asserted the role of Colonel of Irish Guards. This title was reportedly held previously by her husband, Prince William. As of now, the future king holds the prestigious title of Honorary Colonel of Welsh Guards. 

All of it has been sorted keeping in view the Monarch’s upcoming birth anniversary. The King who will soon be getting crowned as the King will have a special birthday celebration due on Saturday, 17th of June. The ceremony will be marked by the Trooping of Colours otherwise known as the King’s Birthday Parade. It will be executed by the Regiments of all Household Divisions led by the Horse Guard parades.

The Monarch will be attending and taking the final salute as the Colonel-in-chief. He as the custom has the highest position of the administration having authority over all newly-appointed Colonels within Foot Guards. The Trooping of Colours will reportedly take place on the scheduled date despite the King’s actual birthday being in the month of November. The silver lining to the entire grandeur is that more than 1400 soldiers, 200 horses, and 409 musicians will be serving the King.
