Netflix is home to The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, a grimy cousin to the 90s sitcom Sabrina the Teenage Witch. All Netflix subscribers shall be graced with the dark presence of the high priestess of chaos, as the 4-part series is available exclusively on the platform with all its 36 episodes streaming since October 2018. Since it concluded its run in December 2020, there will not be any new ones added, but the whole series is still available to binge on Netflix. 

Created by Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa for Netflix, with Archie Comics and Berlanti Productions serving as co-producers, the moonlit wistfulness of the supernatural dark fantasy show stars Kiernan Shipka as Sabrina Spellman alongside Miranda Otto, Lucy Davis, Ross Lynch, the late Chance Perdomo, Michelle Gomez, Gavin Leatherwood, Jaz Sinclair, and others. The teen witch battles the Church of Night and other occult forces that seek to destroy her world, in the show that reimagines the traditional Archie comics' Sabrina Spellman mythos in a darker, witchcraft-infused context.

Sabrina the Teenage Witch has her roots lying deep in comic books and cartoons. The dark comic Chilling Adventures of Sabrina began under Archie Comics' horror line, which is an adaptation of Sabrina's origin, casting the innocent magical teenager as a heroine in an eerie, foreboding world.
