Following their exit from the royal family, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been looking forward to making ties with some of the influential people in the United States. The royal couple is trying to establish themselves in the entertainment industry with their production house, Archewell Productions. Recently, Markle completed her first podcast called Archetypes on Spotify. Meanwhile, they are also coming up with docuseries called Harry & Meghan on Netflix on December 08.

The Netflix show will lay an emphasis on the hardships and challenges faced by the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. Many royal experts believe that with the docuseries, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have declared war against the royals. However, this is not the first time that they will be speaking against their subjects. Their fight against the family started last year following their bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey. Though the Sussexes gained a lot of fame and sympathy, they lost the confidence of the world’s highest-paid actor. 

A big producer was keen on building ties with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle

A report by RadarOnline suggests that Hollywood actor and producer Tom Cruise was keen on building a good relationship with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. Following their exit from the royal family, Cruise was hoping to get them on board for a project. However, he was put off by the Sussexes’ interview with Oprah Winfrey. The superstar is not impressed with the royal couple’s constant blames on the monarchy and has thus decided to maintain his distance. 

It is believed that Cruise was a big Meghan Markle fan. He was considering roping her in one of his movies. However, following their war against the royal family, the offer was “off the table.” This is a big loss for the Duke and Duchess, considering Tom Cruise is a very influential personality and his friendship would have made their stay in the United States smooth. 

In case you do not know, the 60-year-old shares a good camaraderie with the royal family. It was just a few months back that he was seen sharing a moment with Prince William and Kate Middleton. The three met at the London premiere of Top Gun: Maverick. Moreover, the actor was also invited for tea, followed by an informal dinner by Queen Elizabeth II in her last days.
