According to Tudum, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Monica Barbaro are set to return as the beloved father-daughter spy duo in Netflix’s FUBAR season 2. Other returning members from the first season include Travis Van Winkle as Aldon, Fortune Feimster as Roo, Milan Carter as Barry, Scott Thompson as Dr. Pfeffer, Fabiana Udenio as Tally, Andy Buckley as Donnie, Jay Baruchel as Carter, Adam Pally as The Great Dane, Tom Arnold as Norm, Aparna Brielle as Tina and Barbara Eve Harris as Dot.

As Schwarzenegger says, “My team from season 1 became even more of a family.” Coming into the series newcomer, action mogul Carrie-Ann Moss joined the series to portray a German spy, Greta Nelso. According to Moss, creator Nick Santora pitched the role to her, whom she had worked with before. “I watched the show, and I laughed so hard. And in the way that he described Greta, I just thought it would be really, really fun,” Moss added.

According to Tudum, FUBAR season 2 promises to be a thrilling ride for the Brunner family, who will face a multitude of challenges. With their cover blown and a potential mole lurking in the shadows, they will need to utilize their collective expertise and unbreakable bonds to survive. Creator Nick Santora likens their predicament to “deep dog doo doo,” a messy and complicated situation that requires determination, grit, and teamwork to overcome.

Yet, as Santora notes, “the only way out is through,” and this ragtag family is ready to face whatever comes next, united in their quest to save the world as they know it. “Season 2 is bananas,” Santora added while Arnold Schwarzenegger told Tudum, “It is bigger, it is better.” By the looks of it, everything so far cues to a blockbuster installment incoming.

That said, does FUBAR season 2 have a release date?

According to Tudum, FUBAR season 2 was underway as of May 2024. It even broke a Guinness World Record for building the biggest action figure in the world, which stands at a towering 265.7 inches or 22.14 feet. The second installment will hit the Netflix shelves on June 12, and it has eight new episodes. 

“I promise you’re going to love it. And it’s perfect timing—Father’s Day weekend,” Arnold Schwarzenegger teased. While the enthusiasm was already through the roof ever since season 2 renewal, now fans can feel the riot of laughter inching closer, and the anticipation is growing twice as much.

Netflix has not released a trailer for FUBAR season 2 yet. However, first-look photos have surfaced on the Internet. As for who else is involved in FUBAR season 2, well, Nick Santora serves as creator, showrunner, and executive producer. Arnold Schwarzenegger stars in and executive produces FUBAR.

Besides Santora and Schwarzenegger, executive producers include Adam Higgs, Scott Sullivan, Phil Abraham, Amy Pocha, Seth Cohen, and Skydance Television’s David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, and Matt Thunell.
