Fortnite and Stranger Things enthusiasts rejoice as a new feast is imminent, perhaps for one last time. As pop culture's two biggest giants collide again, expect brand new characters in never-before-seen skins as well as gobsmacking adventures that promise to carry on the Upside Down legacy. Fortnite, which has rendered itself as the most versatile virtual playground of unending collaborations, together with Netflix's blockbuster blend of nostalgia, sci-fi thrill, and epic transformations.

Ready to cross the portal of the new Fortnite x Stranger Things wave? 

Initially, Vecna was speculated to be the only addition to the latest Fortnite X Stranger Things wave; however, Epic Games later assured that the Stranger Things gang will be honored with new skins in this collaboration ahead of the fifth and final season. Mike Wheeler, Will Byers, Lucas Sinclair, and Dustin Henderson would also be a part of it when the item shop resets. 

The new crossover will be available officially on November 21, 2025, at 7 PM ET. In addition, the latest wave features a total of 18 new items. These include new Skins, Pickaxes, Back Blings, as well as Emotes, faithfully packing in unique references to the source material. Though Joe Keery's Steve Harrington and Sadie Sink's Max Mayfield are not reported to be a part of the wave 3 skins, the show being split into parts leaves room for more additions later on.

Wave 3 nonetheless delivers a full, exhilarating roster of skins, one that cannot be missed.

Fortnite and Netflix are bringing the Upside Down nightmare back with a Stranger Things-themed Blitz Royale map, which may or may not let users switch between realities. Epic Games has amped up its offerings after the success of its massively successful previous waves, which featured Eleven and Chief Hopper, plus the Demogorgon. Wave 3 comes with the core kids from Hawkins and the evil Vecna. 

Some items include, Vecna Outfit, Vecnaxe Pickaxe, Vecna's Power Draw Emote, Creel's Clock Back Bling, Mike Wheeler Outfit and Investigation Kit Pickaxe as well as Backpack Back Bling, Will Byers Outfit, Backpack Back Bling, and Light Staff Pickaxe, Lucas Sinclair Outfit, Wrist Rocket Pickaxe, Dustin Henderson Outfit and Slammer Pickaxe, Lil' Demogorgon Attack Emote, Upside Down Alphabet Emote, among others. With Fortnite X Stranger Things' first collaboration dating as far back as Chapter 1 Season 9, this new homage to the culmination of the Upside Down era carries a nostalgia for fans and a whole new exciting world for those unfamiliar with the show.
