Big Mouth’s Spinoff Human Resources Coming Soon on Netflix – Release Date, Cast, Synopsis, and More
Who doesn’t love the humor of Big Mouth? If you are in love with the show, you will also appreciate the upcoming series, Human Resources on Netflix, from the creators of Big Mouth. Netflix has already shared a tweet about the arrival announcement of The Big Mouth spin-off.

Human Resources certainly explores the ideas that humans are facing on a daily basis in this world. Netflix has recently released the teaser and release date of the Big Mouth spin-off, which will be an adult animated series. Furthermore, Human Resources will focus on Hormone Monsters’ lives when humans are not around.
Consequently, the executive producer of the series, Mark Levin, told Inverse, “We pitched it to Netflix as ‘Big Mouth meets The Office. We wanted to expand the Big Mouth universe. To support other people who have their own stories to tell and help them with our skills. We’re working with a bunch of writers to figure out a way to tell the best versions of their stories.”

Netflix’s Human Resources Trailer & Release Date
Netflix released the first official teaser clip for Human Resources on January 12th, 2022, which introduces the character from the titular department watching over the humans whose lives they guide. Moreover, the announcement stated that the series will be premiered on Netflix on March 18th, 2022. However, unfortunately, there is still no news about the number of episodes in the spinoff.
The Human Resources Voice Cast & Plot
The plot of Netflix’s Human Resources develops around some creatures like Hormone Monsters, Depression Kitties, Shame Wizards, and many more. They help humans throughout the adult journey, from puberty to parenthood to the twilight years. In the show, we can expect to see the humanity within the creatures as they explore the question, “What does it mean to be human?”

Kroll, who co-created Big Mouth and Human Resources, acknowledges the difference between the two series. He says, “You have these characters that represent a major force in the human condition. The challenge has been that these characters don’t only function according to the one thing they do professionally. The Logic Rock is filled with a lot of emotion and love that defies his nature. Building out the characters in that complex way has been a joy.”

Actors from Big Mouth Maya Rudolph and Nick Kroll, are again giving their voice in Human Resources as Connie the Hormone Monstress and Maury the Hormone Monster, respectively. Other voice cast includes Thandie Newton (Westworld) as Mona the Hormone Monstress and Jemaine Clement (Moana) as Simon Sex. Moreover, Maria Bamford (Arrested Development) as Tito the Anxiety Mosquito and Bobby Cannavale (Homecoming) as Gavin the Hormone Monster are also part of the project. Also featuring are David Thewlis (Fargo) as The Shame Wizard, Brandon Kyle Goodman (Feel The Beat) as Walter the Lovebug, Pamela Adlon (King of the Hill) as Sonya the Lovebug.
