The series Talamasca: The Secret Order was originally released on AMC in the US. It was then dropped on Netflix a couple of months later. The supernatural mystery series, since its debut on the streamer, has quickly climbed into the UK's Top 10 series, highlighting its immediate popular appeal. 

The series holds a 64% critic approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes and an IMDb score of 6.5. The show has received positive critical reception; for instance, IGN praised it as "an absorbing take on the world,” validating its unique genre fusion. This new AMC production, which is an expansion of Anne Rice's literary universe, follows the journey of a young lawyer pulled into a covert organization.

The central plot focuses on lawyer Guy Anatole, portrayed by Nicholas Denton, who is recruited by a senior member of the Talamasca, an order dedicated to monitoring all supernatural activity.

However, Guy soon learns that his recruitment is actually an undercover assignment at the Talamasca's London Motherhouse, where he must identify an agent attempting to betray the organization and endanger the mortal world.

The ensemble includes Nicholas Denton as Guy Anatole, a law school graduate with an invaluable mind-reading ability, recruited to investigate internal threats. Elizabeth McGovern portrays Helen, the New York-based Talamasca agent with a hidden past who brings Guy into the organization.
