Netflix never fails with star power. If anything, the star appeal makes every Netflix dose of delight a scrumptious treat. Amidst the arrival and departure row of Netflix releases, a comedy drama film, Nonnas, from the streamer’s kitchen, has kept fans on their toes for a rollercoaster of laughter riots. But besides its intriguing storyline, the ones who have become the center of streaming attention are Nonnas’ all-star cast.

For those uninitiated, Nonnas on Netflix is a comedy-drama flick, dubbed one of the highly anticipated releases in 2025. Nonnas stars Vince Vaughn as Joe Scaravella, who made his acting debut in the 1993 film Rudy and found his career breakthrough with Swingers (1996). He has starred in a slew of superhit comedies, including Wedding Crashers (2005), The Break-Up (2006), Four Christmases (2008), and The Internship (2013), among others. 

The Netflix comedy stars Oscar-winner Susan Sarandon, who fans must recognize from the iconic Thelma & Louise (1991), Lorenzo’s Oil (1992), and Dead Man Walking (1995). Lorraine Bracco, who plays Roberta in Nonnas, earned showbiz recognition from the HBO crime drama, The Sopranos. Her breakthrough was Martin Scorsese’s Goodfellas (1990). Meanwhile, Talia Shire is best known for her portrayals in The Godfather trilogy and the Rocky series. Brenda Vaccaro is famous for Midnight Cowboy (1969), Capricorn One (1977), and Once Is Not Enough (1975).

Besides Vince Vaughn, Susan Sarandon, Lorraine Bracco, Talia Shire, and Brenda Vaccaro, Nonnas on Netflix includes Linda Cardellini as Olivia. A popular television legend, Cardellini is best known for her starring portrayals in the teen drama Freaks and Geeks (1999-2000), the medical drama ER (2003-2009), and Netflix’s Dead To Me (2019-2022). Her other credits include Scooby-Doo films (2002, 2004) and Legally Blonde (2001). Next is Drea de Matteo.

The Sopranos (1999-2007) launched Matteo, and she appeared in Friends (1994-2004), Swordfish (2001), and Prey for Rock & Roll (2003). On the other hand, Nonnas also stars Joe Manganiello, who kick-started his career as Flash Thompson in Spider-Man (2002). He starred in Magic Mike (2012), Magic Mike XXL (2015), What to Expect When You’re Expecting (2012), and How I Met Your Mother (2005-14).
