The Witcher season 4 is currently hanging by a thread. While it is a popular franchise, and somewhat polarizing in the TV world, this season will not have one of its main draws, Henry Cavill. Liam Hemsworth will be stepping in as Geralt for the upcoming season, and fans are understandably anxious about how it is going to turn out.
That said, there is still plenty to look forward to, including Ciri’s major transformation arc. The Witcher season 4 wrapped filming in October this year, and the season is expected to drop on Netflix between July and September 2025, as per WhatsOnNetflix.
Wednesday
Wednesday's first season debuted on Netflix in 2022 and broke multiple records on the streaming platform. It even dethroned Stranger Things from many of its records. In the first season’s last scene, Wednesday Addams, played by Jenna Ortega, received a threatening text message from an anonymous sender on a new phone given to her by Xavier.
Fans also saw Tyler Galpin, aka the Hyde, played by Hunter Doohan, coming into his full form in the police van.
To straighten out all these cliffhangers, Wednesday season 2 is about to drop on Netflix in September 2025, as per WhatsOnNetflix.
Peaky Blinders
While the official Peaky Blinders series has wrapped up, a Peaky Blinders movie is currently being filmed in Birmingham. This time, alongside Oscar-winner Cillian Murphy, Barry Keoghan, another Oscar-winning actor, will take on an undisclosed role. This time, the gangster universe will be set during World War II.
Although there is no official word on when the movie will hit the screens, the production timeline suggests it could be released in late 2025, as reported by Radio Times.
Suits LA
Suits LA is a spinoff of the popular Aaron Korsh-led series Suits, which also starred Meghan Markle, the former actress and now Duchess. The show had a major resurgence last year after being added to Netflix, which helped push the spinoff into development.
While the spinoff exists in the same Suits universe, it will feature a new cast of characters. As for the release, NBC has scheduled the spinoff as part of its 2025 midseason lineup, and it is set to premiere on February 23, 2025.
Stranger Things
Without a doubt, the most eagerly awaited release on Netflix has to be the fifth and final season of Stranger Things. The show has been delayed for what feels like forever due to the Hollywood strikes, but its filming is finally wrapping up soon.
