Looks like it is not the end of an era just yet for Swifties. Just when fans thought the Eras Tour had wrapped up for good, Taylor Swift dropped a surprise no one saw coming. A movie, The Eras Tour | The Final Show, and a six-episode docuseries, Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour | The End of an Era, capturing every moment leading up to the finale of the most intense chapter in Swiftie history, is about to hit screens on December 12th, exclusively on Disney+, as announced by the songstress herself. "This tour is just for every single one of us who had done so much work, pushing inch by inch, to where we all clicked together," said Swift.

According to the announcement and the trailer that was released alongside, the movie is set to feature the entire 'Tortured Poets Department' set. The docuseries will also include plenty of behind-the-scenes nuggets, including glimpses of Travis Kelce, as seen in the teaser. The first two of the six episodes will go up for streaming on December 12, with two more episodes at a time each of the two weeks after that.

The third and fourth will hit the platform on December 19, followed by episodes fifth and sixth on December 26. The docuseries, directed by Don Argott and Sheena M. Joyce, will also feature Swift's friends, family members, and performers such as Gracie Abrams, Sabrina Carpenter, Ed Sheeran and Florence Welch. Though Disney Plus is the official home for this musical binge, the search for other streaming options is still alive.

Particularly Netflix subscribers, who have already enjoyed several Taylor Swift documentaries on the platform, might naturally wonder if the Eras Tour could be next in line.

Will The Final Show and The End of an Era land on Netflix?

Netflix has a history with Taylor Swift documentaries. Taylor Swift's Reputation Stadium Tour film was available on Netflix until December 31, 2023. Her documentary Miss Americana, which follows Swift during a transformative period in her career, is also available there. However, the Eras Tour documentary is not likely to hit Netflix anytime soon because they are currently distributed exclusively to Disney +. But one can still relive all of Swift’s eras there.
