Every year, the nominations inscribe in stone the vocals that have sounded most resplendent throughout the musical year. Interestingly, this year, the competitions are as fierce as they are empowering. In a bold show, women have dominated a majority of the 2024 Grammy Awards category with a tight tug between SZA and Taylor Swift.

Overwhelmingly, coming in to steal the spotlight, the ‘All the Stars’ singer has put forth a brilliant show of dominance over other singers.

SZA leads 2024 Grammy Awards nominations

The 34-year-old singer has hit the ball miles out of the park as her themes of heartbreak and self-esteem have left other musicians behind. In her own moves of rhythm and blues, Solána Imani Rowe, aka SZA, leads all with nine 2024 Grammy Awards nominations. Looking to leave her imprint on a plethora of categories, the ‘Love Language’ singer is just shy of Beyoncé’s 10 nominations in a single year.

Furthermore, SZA has outperformed many Grammy hoarders, including Taylor Swift. The ‘Bad Blood’ singer who swept the VMAs earlier this year is sitting with six nominations for several categories. Meanwhile, Swift stands tied with her tally alongside Jack Antonoff, Batiste, Boygenius, Brandy Clark, Miley Cyrus, Billie Eilish, and Olivia Rodrigo. The wins may further bolster her tally from the current stash of 12.

At the same time, Swifties are all but ready to roar for the singer to go blazing through the 2024 Grammy Awards.

Fans believe Taylor Swift to be the front-runner with ‘Anti-Hero’

The Eras Tour concert singer has added more stars to her already highly stellar with her nominations. Looking to dethrone Frank Sinatra, Stevie Wonder, and Paul Simon for most Album of the Year wins, the singer’s fans are all but united on the front. In their reactions, they all expressed their utmost desire for the 33-year-old to sweep through the stage.

While many expect there to be a clear sweep, some feel she will bag at least four of the six nominations.

Taylor Swift has earned six nominations for categories including Best Pop Solo Album which also sees Miley Cyrus as one of the top contenders. Additionally, a win this year will comfortably set the singer and her fandom to a brilliant start to the new year adding to the news that she already is a billionaire.
