The three-time Super Bowl champion appeared on his and his brother’s New Heights podcast, where the duo got down to discussing their favorite “Tay Tay.” Upon being asked by his brother about her surprise performance at TEU in June, Travis Kelce divulged that the singer did so impromptu by just going up to the band at the event and asking them to share their spotlight. “She just killed it,” without rehearsal, said the KCC tight end about the country-heavy 'Shake It Off' bit. Well, expected of the Eras Tour performer—but extraordinary nonetheless.

Not only did Travis Kelce gush about Taylor Swift’s musical prowess, but he also appreciated how the singer made everyone in the room feel comfortable with her easygoing demeanor, which again, is nothing new. Swift, who is rumored to be pregnant, is, after all, known to embody the girl-next-door persona despite rocking cat eyes sharp enough to kill a man. Amid Kelce voicing his admiration for the singer, though, it was not too long ago that he listed a downside of his relationship with her.

Appearing on podcasts run by his friends and family at this point is practically like Travis Kelce’s side business. The footballer appeared on NFL players Will Compton and Taylor Lewan’s Bussin’ With The Boys podcast on June 30, revealing that he cannot grasp the fame that has been thrown his way just for dating Taylor Swift. Per Kelce, tackling paparazzi is more difficult than tackling six-foot men who weigh tons on the football field. The athlete joked he fears he will end up having his “meat” plastered on reputed tabloids one day if things continue the way they are right now.

Despite the drawback, however, Travis Kelce noted that he and Taylor Swift will continue stepping out in public for romantic outings, as that is something they thoroughly enjoy and do for themselves rather than for anybody else. Amid praises for Swift at two back-to-back podcasts, Kelce appears to be holding on to his relationship with the 'So High School' singer, tight, like he should.
