Lil Uzi Vert Jams to an Iconic Yeezy Bar in Latest Instagram Live
Lil Uzi Vert has given a recap to Kanye West fans. The two have been longtime friends, collaborated on music together, and still remain on good terms. While Ye went away for a while due to his controversies, both his fans and fellow musicians kept him trending through music. He is certainly known for rap, but he has also aced in the fashion game through his Yeezy brand.
Now rappers usually diss each other through music, but the ‘Money Longer’ singer only showed his support and loyalty towards the ‘Famous’ rapper. He recently went live on Instagram to sing one of West’s songs, leaving fans impressed with its peculiar lyrics.

Just like many artists, Lil Uzi Vert also took to Instagram to keep in touch with his fans and entertain them a bit. In a recent Instagram Live, the singer played the ‘Its on Me’ song for his audience. The song is a part of his 2023 album ‘THE P!NK TAPE’ and is produced by SoulLeftYesterday and Ike Beatz. The song speaks of fashion and how the singer does not wear Prada or Balenciaga. However, one line that catches attention goes, “My Yeezys, they Nike, they glow in the dark“.
It is a reference to Ye’s Yeezy brand and its direct comparison to Nike’s shoes. The specific shoe that he is referring to is called Nike V3 700 Dark Glow. The line came in a variety of black and white when West was still working with Adidas back then. But before his partnership with the German brand, there was also a Yeezy collaboration with Nike.
So perhaps the lyrics to the song came as a supporting message to Ye. The two have a long history of supporting together through tough times.

The two rappers got together to create the song ‘Watch’ back in 2018. It was one of the biggest hits of Travis Scott, featuring the other two artists. The duo even got matching tattoos along with Steve Lacy that said, ‘We here forever technically.’
It has been a while since the two have worked together, but with Ye’s return to music, the chances are strong. Ye recently dropped two songs with rapper Fivio Foreign as well.
