Talking about her short hair look in an interview with Refinery29 back in July this year, she said she went through the hair transformation “for a role.” Sink continued that it was something the 21-year-old never thought she could pull off. She went on to say that her long ginger tresses were her “defining feature” that was a part of some of her most iconic red carpet looks. However, she has no regrets about having had “a foot of hair off.”
In the interview, the actress also revealed that even though she was a bit hesitant, this decision indeed gave her a sense of empowerment. She said, “It feels more like me” as she is at a stage in her life where this look suits her personality better. Even though it was a bit of a dramatic change for the star, she is totally loving her “hot as hell” look.
While fans are in complete awe of Sink’s transformation, her long red tresses will always be an iconic feature of Stranger Things Max.

Sink was the highlight of Season 4, who took everyone’s breath away with her grim portrayal of Max, and the sequence of ‘Running Up That Gill’ in Episode four is still fresh in everyone’s minds. However, Max got into a coma in the season, which makes fans hopeful that she might regain consciousness in the upcoming and final season. After the successful execution of The Nina Project, fans saw Eleven getting even more powerful than she was before.
Eleven’s resurrection power revived Max at the end of season four when everyone almost thought they lost her. Brown’s character’s new powers are still unexplored, and there is a high chance that she can use Max’s beautiful memories to bring her back out of the coma.
