According to a recent Variety report, citing industry sources, Mikey Madison was reportedly offered a role in Shawn Levy’s new and untitled Star Wars movie. However, the Anora actress has passed on the galactic opportunity, and the conversation has since ended. The Deadpool & Wolverine director, Levy, has been working and developing the project since late 2022. He is producing under the banner of his 21 Laps company, alongside Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy. 

Shawn Levy’s upcoming Star Wars movie is said to be a self-contained project, unrelated to the Skywalker Saga, which ended with Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker in 2019. It will star Ryan Gosling, and screenwriter Jonathan Tropper, famous for his work in This Is Where I Leave You and The Adam Project, will write the screenplay. The unnamed Star Wars film would follow The Mandalorian & Grogu.
