June is ready to add another feather to Meghan Markle’s cap as she has been named a distinguished honoree by the prestigious institution, the Natural History Museum.

On June 14, the Natural History Museum in Los Angeles will be hosting the Night of Wonder gala at the NHM’s Exposition Park, where they have announced that they will honor Meghan Markle for her work championing women and underserved communities. In a recently released statement, they have shared that Markle, a native Angeleno, “whose work to advance community wellbeing and expand opportunity, especially for underserved communities.” According to the museum, they and Markle have similar approaches to developing literacy for the next generation.

Meghan Markle will be addressing the attendees present at the event, too, but information about whether she will be attending the event along with Prince Harry is not known yet. The upcoming Gala is said to arouse the feeling of an enchanted garden at night and will be made more enchanting with live music and a meal served in the museum’s North Garden. Moreover, the Museum holds a special place for the Sussex royals.

While Meghan Markle is all set to receive the honor, there was once a time she dreamt of visiting the same, and that wish was fulfilled by her Prince.
