Meghan Markle’s second act in life as a mother and a businesswoman has been a very successful one. Her journey from being an on-screen character to a royal Duchess who not only gives her best every day as a mother, but also carries her business ventures with them smoothly is widely acknowledged. Meghan Markle continues to release informative sessions on sensitive topics through her podcast, Confessions of a Female Founder. During its latest episode, she revealed how an ayurvedic gift basket from her friend helped her a lot during her pregnancy with Princess Lilibet. When she tried the Clevr brands’ turmeric latte from the basket, it was a palate-changing experience for her. Further in the episode, Markle revealed that ancient Indian Ayurveda was always a big help whenever she was expecting. "During my pregnancies, I had an Ayurvedic doctor, and so much of it was about seeing food as medicine."
For this episode, Markle was joined by Hannah Mendoza, founder of the plant-based, superfood latte and tea brand Clevr Blends, which Markle invested in after her uplifting experience. It appealed to the businesswoman within her, and she started learning more about the brand and its products. According to the Duchess, it was the first and truly organic experience of looking at something which made her say, “I want to support this."
A big supporter of a healthy lifestyle Markle also discussed some about taboos around mushrooms, a food she recommends to others.
