Just a few hours ago, Meghan Markle wrapped the first season of her podcast, Confessions of a Female Founder, and for its last episode, her guest was Beyoncé’s mother, Tina Knowles. Talking to her about how she maintained the public appeal of her lifestyle brand, As Ever, she described that a "scarcity mentality at the beginning might be a hook for people" and compared it to "a sneaker drop." However, Markle is also familiar with the drawbacks of this approach in a long-term customer experience and shared, "I don't want you to eat that jam once every six months!"
Meghan Markle’s response came in response to Tina Knowles’s anecdote about the demands of a business, sharing how consumers only see the flashy stuff when they look at a product. Adding, “Those behind-the-scenes moments, how many tears I’ve shed." Markle's episode with Knowles, who is also an entrepreneur, was a wealth of hidden information, as the two businesswomen heartily shared and understood each other about the effort and behind-the-scenes persistence required to create something. And the former actress has so much more to share.
Meghan Markle also revealed about how the success of her business left her pondering over next move.
How is Meghan Markle planning on repeating her As Ever success?
As Ever turned out to be one of the biggest business hits of this year, as all the products flew off the shelves in less than an hour after their launch. In the podcast, Meghan Markle revealed that she worked for a year planning the business, and its immediate success made her feel amazing. But it also set a precedent for how to achieve it in the future, second run, which made her contemplate what her brand's next move should be while looking at it from a customer's perspective.

As happy as she is with the initial reception, Meghan Markle is also fearful of how to replicate it again and has hence decided to reassess rather than leave people disappointed.
