Meghan Markle “feels hurt” by Montecito Neighbors After Their Alleged Rumormongering i New German Documentary
They say a bad neighbor is a misfortune, as much as a good one is a great blessing. Meghan Markle, who moved to Montecito nearly five years ago with her husband, Prince Harry, does not seem to have found much luck with their neighbors, or so it appears. From the very beginning, the couple kept their distance, making sure to guard their privacy- understandably so. And it looks like their neighbors may have just proven that the Sussexes’ decision to keep their distance was the right call with their recent move.
The neighbors have been talking behind the couple's backs in a new documentary, and needless to say, the Duchess is not taking it well.

A new German documentary, portraying the Duke and Duchess of Sussex as globetrotting charity ambassadors, recently hit the waves. Titled, Harry - The Lost Prince, the documentary featured several interviews from the couple’s Montecito neighbours, soldiers from Prince Harry’s military days and even former Metropolitan Police security chiefs. But according to a source from OK!, Meghan Markle “feels hurt by a lot of people - but especially her neighbours”.
The source shared that after shifting across the pond, the Duchess expected to make some new friends. However, she could not risk her privacy given how high-profile and polarizing their brand is. The source stated, Markle is “very wary” of trusting anyone anymore, considering she was allegedly even betrayed by her own father. “And this documentary has confirmed she was right,” added the insider. This came right after a scathing interview from one of the Sussexes' neighbors.
Richard Mineards, a Montecito neighbor of the couple, recently shared his thoughts about the Sussexes- and not very positive ones.
Richard Mineards criticizes Meghan Markle for lack of community involvement
Richard Mineards recently sat down for an interview with The Daily Mail. When asked about Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s private lives, the neighbor stated, “I personally don't think that Meghan is an asset to our community”. Mineards explained that the Duchess does not “go out or get involved with the community”. The neighbor was, however, kinder to Prince Harry.

“He's quite jolly,” said Mineards. Similar thoughts were also shared earlier by other neighbors, who also hailed the Duke as the less high-maintenance, and more approachable one of the two. While Meghan Markle is currently busy tending to her own wounds of betrayal by neighbors, the documentary acted as a major attack on the couple’s Archewell Foundation and their philanthropic career as well.
