Jason Bateman, Will Arnett Step Up the Pod Game – ‘SmartLess’ Debuts on HBO Max With the Greatest Stars You Can Imagine

Ozark flag bearer Jason Bateman and Will Arnett, along with their third partner in crime, Sean Hayes, have been the three musketeers in Hollywood Television. Following their evergreen hits of comic drama, the three have grown synonymous with each other’s fame. While all were riding on the coattails of Jason Bateman, the trio has got one glue that binds them all together at the moment. Undoubtedly, it is their award-winning podcast, SmartLess, which is famous for extracting the juiciest anecdotes from their top-tier guests. This time around, the three have rolled up their sleeves to elevate their pod game to the next level. 

Having won the accolades long overdue and well-deserved, Bateman’s SmartLess has now made its space on streaming giant HBO Max. Entitled Smartless: On The Road, the podcast-turned-Late Night Talk show will hit live theaters in states like Washington, DC, Boston, Brooklyn, Madison, Los Angeles, and Chicago. Nonetheless, it would not surmount to a far-stretched gossip show like most other shows.

The guests will be pouring their hearts out for a precise 45 mins per episode. The rest is all about the “three idiots” they call themselves, busting each other’s balls with the most uproariously hilarious swipes ever. As the three actor-comedian best friends go on a tour around the most sought-after states, fans can thus expect a sneak peek into their years of friendship, work relationships, and personal stories altogether.

What can fans expect from SmartLess on HBO Max? 

The cherry on top – the new six-episode Max docuseries will evidently have the evergreen Hollywood bigwigs including Conan O’Brien, Will Ferrell, Matt Damon, Jimmy Kimmel, Kevin Hart, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, David Letterman, catalyzing the wild ride of witty banters and endless fun. The 2020 podcast, which quickly became one of the top-rated hits in the last couple of years, has become the hotspot of unending wholesome pleasantries and heartfelt laughter.

SmartLess: On the Road hit our screens on the 23rd of May, 2023, exclusively on Max. Hence, the docuseries is not available anywhere else at the moment. Max, rebranded from HBO Max, is the same stream from HBO. It is available for service on subscription.
