Jason Bateman, Will Arnett, and Sean Hayes have been friends for over 25 years now. However, only few people would have guessed that their partnership would also lead to one of the most popular podcasts in America. On SmartLess, their popular podcast, they often share stories of their long-term friendship—which mainly revolves around making fun of each other—constantly, pointedly, and relentlessly. The trio is well-known for their banter, and sharp, witty jabs at each other, which were in full force during Bateman’s recent birthday celebration.

A recent video shared on Jason Bateman’s birthday gave fans another hilarious glimpse into their banter-filled bond.

Jason Bateman, Will Arnett, and Sean Hayes were recently seen stuffing their faces with food before an interview. The video, shared by Foxtel to celebrate the Ozark star’s birthday, showed Bateman hesitating about eating so much gluten, fearing he might “—it his pants.” This caused Arnett and Hayes to burst into laughter, with the former even joking, “I’m praying for that.”

Just as Arnett tried to speak another word mid-bite, Bateman hilariously warned his SmartLess co-host, saying, “Try to —ing get it down your throat and then communicate,” while the Carry-On actor himself had his mouth full. All three erupted into laughter at Bateman's bizarre comment, which is not unusual coming from him given his reputation for saying the most outrageous things and still getting away with it.
