Arnold Schwarzenegger made an appearance on The Howard Stern Show on Thursday. During the conversation, he shed light on the importance of hard work, which he also described in his new book, Be Useful: Seven Tools for Life. The 76-year-old said that people have to go through discomfort and misery to achieve something. But he has noted that young kids today want to skip the hustle part.
According to him, people who do not show up on time do not create history for their country. The youngsters want to feel comfortable while there were people in the past who woke up early and worked hard to make America great. “So now let’s continue this way don’t start creating a generation of wimps and weak people,” he added.
The Austrian Oak understands the thoughts of the younger generation, but he also wants them to be strong enough to face any situation. To him, people have started over-babying kids instead of teaching them valuable lessons. But to change that, he wrote his new book so people realize their purpose in life.
