In Hollywood, where fame and fortune go hand in hand, celebrities don’t just spend; they invest in luxury. While some stars invest in fashion ensembles, others find their solace in riding the automobile extravagance. On the long list of celebrities who have a penchant for opulent vehicles, Friends star Matt LeBlanc is not far behind. The actor, with his enormous automotive collection, continues to prove that he’s not only an iconic celebrity but also a connoisseur of luxury automobiles.

The actor is well known for portraying the character of Joey on the popular sitcom. But what most people don’t realize is that he’s also one of the biggest gearheads in town. The actor has a sizable collection of vehicles, roughly ten in total. However, in his luxurious garage, the Rolls-Royce Phantom Drophead Coupe stands the tallest in monetary value, currently priced at $457,750. While the car’s price is fairly high, its features are equally intriguing.
The luxury grand tourer produced by Rolls-Royce made its debut in 2007. This seventh-generation vehicle was the first to be built after BMW purchased the British automaker in 1998. The Phantom is powered by a 6.7-liter V12 engine mated to a ZF six-speed transmission. Little is known regarding the modifications made to LeBlanc’s Rolls-Royce. However, the blue paint and black and cream interior with wood accents give it a more classic appearance.
The actor’s obsession with collecting classic automobiles also led him to join one of the most bankable shows in the automotive industry.

While the hit BBC show Top Gear is presently on hiatus for the foreseeable future, it had a successful run under LeBlanc, who joined the series in 2016. This generated a lot of excitement among Friends fans, who were excited to see the self-proclaimed “car nut” on the beloved show. However, this did not continue long since the actor left the show after only 24 episodes in 2018.
The actor revealed to BBC News in 2018 that the extensive shooting and traveling were the main reasons he was leaving the show. Further, it’s an “unfortunate” circumstance, but he wishes the whole cast of the show “good luck for the future.” The actor departed the show because it was interfering with his time and dedication to his family. This shows that, in addition to his talent for collecting cars, the actor is also a family man.
