While it might seem like just another day of the royal couple getting lampooned on air, Family Guy's latest episode took a historical turn. The show's savage time-travel skit ripped into Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's marriage, juxtaposing it with some of the biggest atrocities in history, as reported by the Daily Mail. Main characters Stewie and Brian Griffin listed Adolf Hitler, the Crusades, and Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's wedding in the same sentence on the discourse of how "history pretty much sucks." What made it worse, they even made an animated Prince Harry comment on the jarring scene.

Following the comment, the camera cut to an exasperated Prince Harry, couch-slumped and breaking the fourth wall with a deadpan one-liner: "Oh, like all your wives are so much better?" The episode not only mocked their marriage but also exploded a comedic grenade by equating it with some of the darkest moments of human history.
This is not the first time the controversial couple became the foundation of punchlines over the years. However, for pop culture, this joke never gets old.
A few other shows known to have skewered the royal couple
Over the years, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle infamously pursued and then withdrew from the limelight, chasing public interest. Once the couple officially stepped down as working royals of the British Empire, several satirical outlets and shows feasted on their treasure trove of controversy and irony. Comedy Central's show, South Park, famously mocked them in a February 2023 episode, titled The Worldwide Privacy Tour. In 2016, the British Channel 4 comedy, The Windsors, ridiculed Markle's acting career and the couple’s relationship.

From puppets to caricatures and subtle punchlines at award shows, pop culture continues to scrutinize the royal couple as their favorite pastime. That being said, the duo never truly stops fanning the flames with several controversial interviews, memoirs, or underwhelming cooking shows.
