Because of which "both women were crying their eyes out!" the staff member continued, as reported by Newsweek.

According to Newsweek, the staff member also added that all the papers and commentators got the issue wrong, and the truth was that there were spats between sisters, brothers, or even sisters-in-law, and both sides were really upset. The whole tension took place just days before Meghan Markle’s wedding to Prince Harry and was about Princess Charlotte’s bridesmaid dress for their 2018 wedding, which gave birth to a bitter moment between Kate Middleton and Markle. But things got better eventually.

While Kate Middleton made an effort to bury the hatchet, the public scrutiny of the matter forced Meghan Markle and Prince Harry to speak on the subject later.

After the apology, Meghan Markle was all but ready to move forward on the issue, but was forced to address it after it made it to the media made it public. Speaking to Oprah Winfrey during her famous interview, Markle said that it was a really hard week of the wedding, and Kate Middleton’s apology touched her heart. She added that Middleton "apologized, and she brought me flowers and a note apologizing".

Prince Harry, too, acknowledged the matter that blew into a media circus in his memoir Spare. He shared that after a "back and forth" between the sisters-in-law over text, he found Meghan Markle crying on the floor and was horrified to see her so upset. But things got better as Kate Middleton came by the next day with flowers and a card to apologize.
