Any Hollywood fan will not need any introduction to the unending feud between Taylor Swift and rapper Ye, formerly known as Kanye West. The unhinged drama that started in 2009 during the MTV VMA awards became the foundation of the fire that keeps burning even after one and a half decades. And Ye’s ex-wife, Kim Kardashian, has also been a key player in this feud, which saw Swift and Kardashian go from enemies to friends and then vice versa.

And it has only been a few days since Ye has created another headache for Taylor Swift, it seems that the pop singer might be locking horns with his ex-wife over a Hollywood project.

It was only revealed a few days ago that a 1992 movie, The Bodyguard, is being remade, and the director working on it is Sam Wrench, who had also directed Taylor Swift's Eras Tour movie. Due to this, it is being presumed that Swift will be playing the lead role of Whitney Houston in this remake. However, as per the Daily Mail, Kim Kardashian might be the first choice for Houston's role by the makers.

The Daily Mail reports that an insider claims that Warner Bros studio "is very keen on Kim". The Source also claims that there have already been multiple meetings about this and that the script for the movie is being written with Kim Kardashian in mind. If cast, this will not be the first acting credit for Kardashian, who over the last two decades has had many acting appearances to her name. She has multiple cameos in shows like How I Met Your Mother and others, and served as a fabulous host on SNL in 2021.

While Taylor Swift might have to sort this one out, she still has to deal with the headache of Ye's recent explosive comments on her.

When it comes to serving up nonstop drama, Ye keeps on delivering. Earlier in April, he dropped a bombshell on Taylor Swift’s head in the form of a disrespectful X post in which he defamed her personal life and relationships without any proof to back him up. This unwanted action triggered Swift so much that she decided to take legal action through a cease and desist order against him.

As Taylor Swift took strong action against defamation, her beau, Travis Kelce, was standing in full support of her. The Daily Mail shared he was ready to confront the rapper in person, "man to man." The outlet also shared that an inside source close to Swift labeled Ye’s action defamatory. While Swift’s battle with Ye is ongoing on the legal front, it looks like she also has to battle his ex-wife, Kim Kardashian, if she wants to star in the lead role of The Bodyguard.
